The brazed plate heat exchanger (BPHE) is a highly efficient and compact heat transfer equipment. It consists of corrugated stainless steel plates, brazed together with copper or other filler metals to create a sealed unit. These plates form channels through which two fluids flow, allowing heat to be transferred between them without physical mixing.
