Brazed Plate Heat Exchanger

Brazed plate heat exchangers are made up of stamped stainless steel plates that are brazed in a vacuum process to form a pressure-resistant unit, in copper or nickel depending on the requirements of the application. They can therefore be operated at high pressures and temperatures and they have a compact design.

Brazing the stainless steel plates together eliminates the need for sealing gaskets and thick frame plates. As well as holding the plates together at their contact points, the brazing material seals the package. Our BHEs are brazed at all contact points, ensuring optimal heat transfer efficiency and pressure resistance. The plates are designed to provide the longest possible lifetime.
